DataBox is participating in a project to implement ISO certifications ISO 20000-1:2018 and ISO 27701:2019, representing a strategic step toward strengthening competitiveness, security, and the quality of IT services.

DataBox is involved in the project (PK.1.3.04.0301) aimed at increasing competitiveness through the implementation of ISO certifications. This enables standardized IT service management, process optimization, and improved operational efficiency.

The implementation of ISO 27701:2019 will ensure compliance with international privacy regulations, further strengthening the trust of users and business partners. With its existing certifications and new standards, DataBox reinforces its position in the industry while enabling access to new markets, improving internal control, and ensuring long term business sustainability.

Project Objectives

The project objectives focus on the standardization and optimization of IT services, resulting in increased efficiency and improved quality of customer support, reduced operational costs, and higher client satisfaction. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing data security and privacy protection through the implementation of ISO 27701, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulatory frameworks while reducing legal and reputational risks.

The project also contributes to strengthening competitiveness and opening new market opportunities. Certification enables participation in international tenders and the establishment of contracts with corporate and institutional clients. In addition, the project supports long term business sustainability through the optimization of business processes and the reduction of risks related to IT service management and data protection.

Expected Results

Successful certification in accordance with ISO 20000-1 for IT service management and ISO 27701 for privacy information management will ensure compliance with international standards and increase the level of data security and alignment with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.

Through standardized IT service management, DataBox will optimize business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs. The implementation of these standards will further strengthen the company’s competitive advantage, enable participation in international tenders that require certified IT systems, and enhance customer experience through improved IT support processes and data privacy protection.

Project Financial Framework

The total value of the project amounts to 55,938.30 EUR and is co financed by the European Union through a grant of 34,007.94 EUR. The total eligible costs amount to 45,343.92 EUR, and the implementation period is planned from 1 June 2025 to 30 November 2026.

The project is implemented under the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021 to 2027 and is co financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
